How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?

Friends and my sister also got her dress from Sophia Grace.

How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?

I honestly cannot thank you all enough for helping me find my dream dress, veil and shoes!!! Also, my beautiful bridesmaids dresses. I loved how each bridesmaid was able to choose a different style to suit them 💗 Your patience and understanding was amazing especially when it came to having a baby and dress fittings all in the space of 6 weeks 😂

Tell us about your dress and why you choose your particular gown

Getting married in Cyprus I went for a lighter weighted dress. I fell in love with the Enzoani dress. I loved the train and the back detail of the dress. The Elizabeth Dickens veil complemented the detail of the dress perfectly.

How did you meet? Are you happy to tell us about the proposal?

We met in New York 10 years ago when we were doing Camp America. Two beautiful baby boys later we are married.
We got engaged in Venice. Mikey was so nervous as we decided to take a trip on a gondola. The next thing I knew the gondola nearly capsized as Mikey got down on one knee ❤️

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

I always wanted to get married abroad and my family spends a lot of time in Paphos. We met the wedding planner and fell in love with our venue. The lead up to our wedding was amazing. All our close friends and family were able to meet for our hen, stag and bbq pool party making the wedding day even more special as everyone know everyone. What more could you ask for love, laughter and sun!

Did Covid-19 Impact your wedding?

We rescheduled from summer 2021 to 2023.

What made you decide upon your chosen venue?

Liopetro venue is breathtaking. As soon as you walk in you get this chilled vibe yet rustic and elegant looking layout with views of the Mediterranean.

Tell us about your wedding

We got married on the 11th July in Paphos Cyprus. Our wedding was the best day. We had a wedding planner who took all my worries away. My bridal party spent the morning sipping Prosecco and getting pampered. Our ceremony was magical as our wedding singer played I Will Wait as my dad walked me down the aisle. We then had our professional pictures followed by our cocktail reception. The sax player kept everyone entertained. We then made our entrance to Calvin Harris When I Met You In The Summer (fitting as we started out as a holiday romance) we cut the cake, shed a few tears at the speeches and then tucked into our BBQ. We then danced the night away!

What was the most memorable moment?

Walking down the aisle and seeing Mikey at the bottom 😍 As well as all our closest friends and family making the effort to travel over to Cyprus for our special day 💗
