Wedding of Francesca and Bradley
How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?
I had seen a wedding dress on Instagram that I really loved and googled which bridal boutiques stocked Wona Concept dresses and Sophia Grace Couture came up.
How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?
I had a lovely experience at Sophia Grace Couture. From the moment I walked in I was in awe of the boutique. The interior was beautiful and looked like a dream. Unlike some boutiques, you have your own private space and aren’t sharing the room with a number of other brides to be. Hannah was amazing and very knowledgeable, she listened to what I wanted and offered her advice. From ordering my dress and veil straight through to delivery, Hannah kept me updated the whole time.
Tell us about your dress and why you choose your particular gown
chose the Wona Atelier Karter dress. Ever since I was a little girl, I was obsessed with couture dresses which had a lot of detail and floral embellishments and knew I wanted something similar for my wedding. The Karter dress ticked all the boxes and more.
How did you meet? Are you happy to tell us about the proposal?
We met during lockdown on Instagram, Bradley slid into my dms and we messaged for a few weeks before meeting up and we have been together ever since.
We were at a friend’s wedding in Crete and I always wanted to go to Mykonos so after the wedding we decided to island hop and go to Mykonos for the week. Bradley took me to a restaurant overlooking the water at sunset which was beautiful but it was a little busy so he asked me to go for a walk and he took me down to a quieter area and proposed.
What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?
We got married in Marbella and our venue was quite rustic, so I wanted the theme to be modern and romantic and keep the colour scheme to cream and whites.
What made you decide upon your chosen venue?
Our venue had various parts to it which we loved so at each stage of the wedding day the guests would experience a different part of the venue.
What was the most memorable moment?
The most memorable moment was when the band came on. They were incredible and everything we had hoped for. It felt more like a private concert and the dance floor was never empty. Bradley and I were up dancing all night with our friends.
Do you have any advice for future brides visiting Sophia Grace Couture?
Try on everything, all different types of dresses to get a feel for what suits your body shape. You tend to find the dress you never thought you’d go for ends up being the one. Other people’s thoughts and opinions can help but don’t let it be the deciding factor.
