How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?

I found out about Sophia Grace Couture on Instagram - I really did a lot of research before I went dress shopping, I wanted to go to 1 place and find the one. I really found Sophia Grace had a lot of the designers I loved, and I just seen amazing things about the shop.

How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?

My experience at Sophia Grace was an absolute dream! The shop is absolutely beautiful, and Charlotte is an absolute angel. I was very apprehensive about trying on dresses and she really made me feel so at ease! From the moment I walked in and from trying the first dress on I had one of the best days of my life! I honestly loved every single minute! I knew I’d find the one there.

Tell us about your dress and why you choose your particular gown

The dress! Urgh it was perfect in every way. It was exactly what I wanted and what I'd always hoped for! It was by Enzoani and I would still choose it absolutely every time. From the subtle sparkle straps, the lace, the train it was just everything I imagined and more and I felt so beautiful in it.

How did you meet? Are you happy to tell us about the proposal?

I met my husband through work 6 and a half years ago! He proposed in December 2021 at the top of the Rockefeller centre in New York and it was absolutely perfect.

What was your inspiration for your wedding? Did you follow a specific theme or colour palette?

My inspiration for the wedding was light pink/ neutral florals and glam! I always knew I’d have my bridesmaids in pink, so I just chose florals and decor to match from JAM events who were absolutely amazing!

What made you decide upon your chosen venue?

We visited a few wedding venues and there was just absolutely no one who compared to Lochside. From the minute we set foot in the door they just made us feel so so special and there was nowhere else I could have pictured my wedding day. The setting and venue are second to none and the staff are so patient, professional and really go above and beyond. The day was so perfect from beginning to end.

Tell us about your wedding

Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives. It was absolutely perfect from beginning to end and I loved every single second. Everyone who was there made it so special as did all our suppliers! We both laughed all day, and I feel like I really did soak up every single moment it was truly so special!

What was the most memorable moment?

There were so many memorable moments but probably seeing Connor at the bottom of the aisle for the first time and just then also being surrounded by everyone we loved.

Do you have any advice for future brides visiting Sophia Grace Couture?

My advice would be to not stress and trust the girls at Sophia Grace! Just enjoy it, relax and have a little fizz, you are the moment, and you’ll find the most beautiful dress in this stunning shop!
