How did you find out about Sophia Grace Couture?

I first found out about Sophia Grace when searching for bridal shops in Edinburgh as I was going to be visiting family and after already trying two bridal shops where I live and having no luck I booked an appointment last minute at Sophia Grace.

How would you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?

They were very accommodating and friendly when we visited and gave us just the experience we wanted. Ines wasn't too pushy or over the top like some places, she listened to what I wanted and knew exactly what to pick out for me to help me find my dream wedding dress.

Tell us about your dress and why you choose your particular gown

I was very specific with what kind of lace I wanted and the kind of straps and fit etc, after trying lots on already I knew exactly what I didn't want. With it also being an abroad wedding it had to be suitable for this too.

What made you decide upon your chosen venue?

Originally we were booked to get married at St. Andrews in June 2022 but when we managed to go on holiday between lockdowns we feel in love with Lindos in Rhodes and booked it for our wedding the week after we got home for May 2022 and it's the best decision we made! Luckily we weren't affected by Covid at all and the only reason we changed the date was because of the venue change so can honestly say it was completely stress free.

Tell us about your wedding

Getting married abroad was perfect for us as it meant we had all our closest family and friends to celebrate with us in our favourite place for a whole two weeks rather than one day. We also had an allocated wedding organiser who did absolutely everything and was amazing.

What was the most memorable moment?

There were so many things that made the day special, the weather was perfect, we went on a boat to get from the ceremony to the reception and had a saxophonist play through our BBQ dinner on the beach. I just wish we could do it all over again!
